Bring this
Two short samples you wrote, plus one draft you want to improve. Choose samples you are comfortable sharing with your AI tool.
Leave with this
One revised draft and a short voice card you can reuse. You decide what sounds right.
Choose two real samples.
Use a couple of emails or posts you wrote and still like. Around 100–300 words each is plenty. Remove names or details that do not need to be shared.
Let AI spot specific patterns.
Paste the prompt and your samples. Review the voice notes it gives you. Correct anything that does not feel like you.
Apply the notes to one draft.
Tell it who the draft is for and what you want it to do. Have it improve the voice while preserving the message and facts.
Make the final human edit.
Read it aloud. Check every name, number and promise. Save the approved voice card somewhere you can find it for your next draft.
YOUR GUIDED PROMPT
Copy. Paste. Make it yours.
Paste into your usual AI chat. Answer one question at a time.
Specific beats “make it more human.”
Fictional example: your samples start with a direct observation, use short paragraphs and finish with a gentle invitation. Those are usable editing instructions. “Sound friendly and authentic” gives the AI much less to work with. Keep the patterns you recognize and discard the ones you do not.
